My Perfume Collection : August 29, 2015

Hello everyone ! Today, I decided to share my perfume collection with you all. It isn't an extensive collection, but I love every scent that I have and each scent carries a different memory with it. Some perfumes I've received as gifts, and others I have purchased with my own money. The six scents that I currently own are: Gucci Guilty, Flower Bomb by Viktor and Rolf, Fresh Cream by Philosophy, CK One by Calvin Klein, Purr by Katy Perry, and Wink by Lilly Pulitzer. Below, I've provided the brief product description of each scent. I hope you enjoy this post. I appreciate all of your support !

Purr by Katy Perry: The composition of Katy Perry Purr is developed by Firmenich perfumer house, combining top notes of peach, forbidden apple, gardenia and green bamboo with the heart of jasmine, pink freesia and Bulgarian rose and the base of vanilla orchid, creamy sandalwood, white amber, coconut and musk.

CK One by Calvin Klein: Ck one is a naturally clean, pure, and contemporary fragrance with a refreshingly new point of view. This light, relaxed scent is meant to be used lavishly. ck one Eau de Toilette can literally be splashed all over the body. It is an intimate fragrance, one that you need to be near to smell.

Wink by Lilly Pulitzer:Wink opens with aromas of pear nectar, pink freesia and aromas of lush garden, with heart blossoming with a bouquet of roses, white lily and violet, adding crystal amber and white musk in the base.

Gucci Guilty: Made for the woman who shatters expectations, this fragrance imbues with a feeling of power, a sense that she can attain whatever she wants—even the thrill of the forbidden. A sheer, floral-oriental fragrance, it opens with a bright burst of citrus and a dangerous hint of black pepper. This arresting introduction gives way to full-throttle femininity as its heart pulses with fruity and floral notes. The fragrance dries down to a rich, ambery base with notes of patchouli. The overall effect is young, stylish, and eminently wearable—a daring edge of sexiness and sensuality that captures the essence of Gucci.

Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf: This floral explosion releases a profusion of flowers that has the power to make everything seem more positive. Magically evocative notes immediately awaken your deepest senses, giving you the impression of living life in your own secret garden, away from reality. Sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli.

Fresh Cream by Philosophy: This sweet, deliciously subtle fragrance was created to delight the senses and elicit pure joy. The fragrance leaves skin with a delicately creamy scent, guaranteed to draw others closer yet never overwhelm. It can be worn alone or layered with other Fresh Cream products for a head-to-toe scent.

My Negative Experience Shopping Online : August 28, 2015

Hello everyone ! Before I start my rant, I want to say that I love online shopping as much as the next person does. Shopping online is super convenient because it is on your own time and you can browse for what you think you want or may need. Up until now, I have had only positive experiences with online shopping whether it be from a major retailer or a small boutique type of store. Recently, I was looking for a dress for an even I was going to. I was looking for a maxi dress that could be either dress up or dressed down. I browsed different stores and online shops and even Pinterest, and I thought I found my match. I was pinning some dresses on Pinterest when I came across a dress that was actually a sponsored post, but it has a ton of re-pins, which seemed like a good sign. I went on over to the site and proceeded to look for this specific dress.

While I was on this site, I found the specific dress and thought it looked super cute and couldn't wait to wear this to my upcoming event. I read over the reviews and everyone who purchased it seemed to love it and even went on to purchase the dress in another color. I went ahead and placed my order, following the size chart and choosing my color. I ordered a black maxi dress in a size Medium and paid for extradited shipping. I was notified by email that my dress would arrive in 2 business days.

My dress indeed arrived promptly in 2 business days, but when I received the package I was nothing but disappointed. The website says their company is based in California and my package came from a shipping facility in China. When I opened the package, the dress was in a plastic bag and there was no size, no receipt, and no other information whatsoever. I tried the dress on and that was even worse. I am normally a size 6 in most stores and sometimes if they run small I would have to get a size 8. I followed the size chart and when I tried the dress on, it zipped up but it did not fit at all on the bust area. The dress quality was also very cheap and you could completely see through the dress and was not flattering at all. This dress is not made for someone with any type of curve to their body whatsoever.

Because I was so disappointed and unhappy with my purchase, I decided to contact the store and ask what I can do to receive a refund because I had no receipt or return information. I proceed to check their website looking for where I can contact this company and they have no telephone number and they have only one email address that didn't answer my emails at first. I also referred to their return policy where they claimed that returning an item is simple, BUT you only may receive a 60% discount you are not guaranteed a full refund. They are scamming you and robbing you of your money. I couldn't believe what I was dealing with.

I finally got in touch with them and they told me that I would have to send back my item and pay for international shipping myself (which was half the price of the dress) and I would not receive a full refund. I emailed back and forth arguing with the company that I could not get a refund and all they wanted to do was provide me with coupons. Why would I want to shop with this company ever again? I refused the coupons and they said they couldn't help me. I continued to contact them and they agreed to refund me only $15 ! I took what I could but I spent $45 on the dress!

Take this as a lesson from me to always be super cautious as to what you shop for online. I normally am not one to bash a company or write about my disappointments, but I couldn't get over this particular experience. For those of you who want to know what the company's name is,it is a company called CupShe. I advise you to be very careful if you do order from them, but I would recommend that you do not. Returns are impossible and refunds are definitely not going to happen. I hope this post helped you and I hope to help you avoid stress when online shopping.

Thank you for all of your support !
Enjoy !

Marshall's Haul : August 16, 2015

Good evening everyone ! I went shopping at Marshall's over the weekend and scored some seriously amazing items from Free People. As you all know, Free People is one of my favorite brands and I am always in search of a good deal on this brand because they are a bit pricey. I purchased two teeshirts, a thermal, two sweaters, and a dress. I tried my best to find links to all of the pieces I purchased. If I did not include the exact item, I linked similar ones that are just as nice. As always, details will be posted below. Thank you for all of your support! Don't forget to like, comment, follow, and +1 this blog. I hope you love this post !

Enjoy !
